NIGMS Requests Feedback on Glue Grants

The National Institutes of General Medical Sciences is asking for feedback on its Large-Scale Collaborative Project Awards (Glue Grant) program.  The grants, designed to “provide resources for currently funded scientists to form research teams to tackle complex problems that are of central importance to biomedical science and to the NIGMS mission, but that are beyond the means of any one research group,” were halted in 2009 after 11 years of funding.  Now, NIGMS is asking stakeholders for their input on the effectiveness of the program.
