As we go to bed tonight, it’s with the government in official shutdown mode. We hope tomorrow to post more specific information regarding how agencies will operate in the shutdown.
From a procedural standpoint, the U.S. House made one final vote, again funding the government at fiscal 2013 sequester levels for two months, delaying portions of the Affordable Care Act and naming conferees to negotiate with the Senate. Some details are outlined here.
The Senate will open for business at 9:30AM, where they are expected to again reject this proposal from the House. We anticipate updating again around then.
