Join the ASBMB for our first hour-long federal agency funding opportunity webinar with program directors from the National Science Foundation highlighting opportunities in the Divisions of Molecular and Cellular Biology and Chemistry.
The webinar will be held at 1 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
NSF provides 24 percent of all federal funding for basic academic research in science and engineering and 68 percent of all federal funding for biological science research (excluding contributions from the National Institutes of Health).
The strongest source of support at the foundation for researchers in biology is the Directorate for Biological Sciences, however, opportunities exist across the foundation in other research directorates, including the Directorate for Math and Physical Sciences.
By joining this webinar, you will gain insights on funding opportunities as well come to understand the types of projects each directorate funds.
